Volunteers Needed for Scholastic Book Fair
Our Scholastic Book Fair is coming up the week of Monday December 17th-Thursday December 20th. We absolutely could not have the Book Fair without a lot of parent volunteers. Please click the sign-up genius link and look for opportunities to help, click here. This is such a wonderful event for families to shop while supporting Hutton at the same time.
Books & Bingo Date Change
Please update your calendars! Books & Bingo has been moved to Tuesday, February 5th.
School and Library Bonds Passed
Thank you for supporting the schools and libraries by voting YES! The school bond will add three new middle schools, renovate three additional middle schools, add new options space and a cafeteria/commons at Lewis and Clark, rebuild Joe Albi Stadium, and invest in security and technology for our students. Read detailed information about the bond.
Appropriate Clothes for Fall Weather
Fall weather has arrived! Even though the afternoons are mild, the mornings have been chilly. Remember that students must line up before school and go outside for morning recess. The fresh air and exercise are a vital part of a child’s day. Please ensure that your child is coming to school dressed for fall weather.
Lost & Found
Our lost and found bins are getting full. If you are missing a coat, sweater, sweatshirt, lunch bag, etc., please check out the lost and found closet. All items not picked up by December 21 will be donated to charity during winter break.
Spokane Chiefs School Night
Spokane Chiefs are inviting our school to participate in the first school night of the season, which will be held on Saturday, October 27, presented by Shriners Hospitals for Children! The game will be at the Spokane Arena at 7:05 p.m. All students, teachers, families and friends can receive a special rate of $7.00 per ticket. If you are interested, please contact Gabe Via at
gvia@spokaneschiefs.com or call (509)328-0450.
Coats for Kids
Every night in the United States, an estimated 600,000 people live on the streets. This October, Hutton has a Coats 4 Kids collection box in the main entry of the school. If you are able, please donate a new or used coat. The box will be available through the end of October. Thank you.
